Postpartum Birth Control with Dr. Carlos Ramos
The Mommy Chat interviewed Dr. Carlos Ramos, an OB/GYN in the Houston area about postpartum birth control options. We discussed both permanent and temporary methods. Dr. Ramos explains which birth control methods are best when breast feeding.
Dr. Carlos Ramos is an OB-GYN with OGA In the 7900 Fannin building. (It's a great building to have your doctor in because the lab is located there as well as having valet they also have The Stork Club and Nine, a couple of my favorite baby and maternity clothing boutiques!) I cannot recommend him enough and several of the members on The Mommy Chat already go to him and love him, including Mary Kathryn! Dr. Ramos rarely goes on vacation, therefore he is very available, all of his patients have his email address and he is very prompt to respond. He even called to wish Caroline a happy first birthday, hows that for an OB-GYN!

Information about Miscarriages with Dr. Carlos Ramos
The Mommy Chat interviewed Dr. Carlos Ramos, an OB-GYN about miscarriages. We discussed the possible causes and frequencies of miscarriages. Dr. Ramos also explains the three options a women has after the diagnosis of miscarriage; a surgical treatment called a D&C, a vaginally inserted medication, called Cytotec, and the body’s way of naturally expelling the embryo.

Interview with a Mom Inventor
The Mommy Chat had so much fun interviewing Mendy Hassen about her invention One, Two, Tie My Shoe. We discussed how her product works and her journey producing and patenting a product. Her invention teachs children to tie their shoes in five minutes! Many Occupational Therapist and teachers are even using her product to teach children that have difficulties with fine motor skills.
